A London-based filmmaker wanted to transform his home with a “new but traditional” design and some investment value. He knew that the sash windows at his apartment weren’t right. They were worn, ageing and broken.
In our discussions about design, cost and function, one thing became clear – he’d love to have unique sash windows. So, we designed windows for him that are absolutely stunning. We installed heritage sash windows in front, back and sides of the property, including a pair of heritage sash windows in each room.
The heritage sash windows had historic-style glazing bars and casement hardware with decorative linings and rope-style hinges.
We replaced all of the windows for this home, which were old, broken, or hard to operate. The new windows are energy-efficient and attractive. At the end of the project, he wrote us a thank you note that read: “Ace Glazing London is a company I would recommend to anyone. Your work is impeccable and you do what they say they will do.”
